Rayman Legends Xbox One Review | Capsule Computers

Editor Joe Morgan writes, "Originally set to be an exclusive release for the Wii U, Rayman Legends is a follow-up to 2011s critically acclaimed 2-D platformer, Rayman Origins. The game received numerous delays on the Wii U, ultimately dropping for last gen consoles and, recently, receiving a release for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Can Legends reach the high marks set by its predecessor?"

Rayman Legends Xbox One/PS4 review - MMGN

Added: 20.02.2014 8:15 | 12 views | 0 comments

MMGN: The real appeal of these versions is you get to play them on these new consoles. The controller youre playing with will be better, theres video sharing functionality, and you dont need to plug in your old system again. Your investment might be more a case of having easier access to a phenomenal game than any need to replay it. Thats not a good reason to double dip though, and youre probably better off waiting until a replay craving hits you a few years down the track and you start to regret selling your old console. If youve never played Rayman Legends, its a no-brainer purchasebut it doesnt really matter what you end up playing it on.

Rayman on Xbox One is somehow dramatically smaller than PS4, Wii U and last-gen

It isn't clear at the moment but it appears that somehow Rayman Legends on Xbox One is significantly smaller in size (gigabytes) than all other versions. This is especially weird since its supposed to feature uncompressed textures.

Next-Gen Face-Off: Rayman Legends

Added: 19.02.2014 7:15 | 11 views | 0 comments

Featuring beautifully drawn 2D visuals and imaginative gameplay, Rayman Legends stands out as one of the best games released last year, showing that the humble 2D platformer still has much to offer amongst a sea of blockbuster first-person shooters and open world action titles. It's also one of the few games to deliver native 1080p visuals running at a smooth 60fps - an impressive feat rarely seen on the previous generation of consoles, and something which both the PS4 and Xbox One are struggling to achieve in an era where pushing prettier pixels on screen is still considered to be more important than targeting high frame-rates.

Rayman Legends Xbox One Review (ThisisXbox)

Added: 19.02.2014 1:15 | 12 views | 0 comments

ThisisXbox: "Ubisoft has released Rayman Legends on the Xbox One this week and is available as a retail or digital download title. It has already appeared on last-gen consoles (Xbox 360) last year and was one of our most favourite platformers to date, and still is but unfortunately if you have already played the Xbox 360 version then you have no real need to buy it again. Save your cash because Rayman Legends on Xbox One is basically a re-release with less loading times due to the advantage of installing on Xbox One. Its graphical appearance doesnt appear to be much improved (if any), however this will and should appeal to gamers who never bought it first time around."
